I just received confirmation from Maggie from Race and Street (A forum Supporting Vendor) that she has sent her sponsor goodies for the run...We have been blessed to have really excellent support this year so the door prizes and goodie bags will be really nice. It sure would be nice if every one who was at the very 1st Mid Central Run in Aug 2006 could make this one at the Dells in Aug 2007 plus all the new HHr owners , This is going to be a lot of Fun! I will check into a banner this weekend, see what the costs are going to be...maybe we can come up with something...pics definitely, plus we are going to have a photographer offering custom packages of professional shots of your vehicles and his prices are extremely reasonable...I am now trying to get hands on a digital camcorder so we can take videos and have them on the web sites for those who can't come...Hhhmmm, maybe we should do a Road Ripper contest too!!!

Any road construction I should be aware of coming through Chicago?!? I plan on taking the I-90 Express W to I-90 Express W/I-94 Express W/ Dan Ryan Express W to I-90 W.

 

There is constuction on going on the Dan Ryan, but it`s hard to predict traffic conditions a month ahead of time.

I drive it every day and its not bad BUT you must watch your Speed The Illinois State Police Has a White in color Van that takes Photos of vehicles that are speeding and sends them a Citation via the Mail. You will know if it took some ones Photo because you can see the Flash go off , The Flash is on top of the vehicle. Their is a Sign that is posted on the Highway about this vehicle they now have a Your Speed is sign on top of the vehicle as of 2 weeks ago. Its only in the Construction area., From 95th to 29th street. Stay in the Express lanes and stay at 50 MPH and you wont have any problems. Do you have any Idea when you might be driving in this area, Call me and I will give you an Up-Date. on the Ryan if you take I-294 its not really any safter. You have my Cell #
