Yeah, the creeper and skateboard races are gonig to be a bit unorthodox...the creeper races will have the contestants laying face down with a plunger in each hand for propulsion and navigation...the skateboard races will have you sitting on the board, two plungers, no feet...Egg toss, yeah there will be garbage bags to protect your clothes...I am building the "Bago" game targets and the hot wheel drag strip...I bought a few boxes of crayons and have printed a bunch of automotive coloring books for the kids...okay the big kids too !!! Steve, Don and I had a great time with automotive trivia at the Peoria show so we might be able to do something like that just for giggles...I am working on sound equipment so we can make announcements and play music, HHR Boutique will be there and Linda sounds like a hoot, games, door prize drawings...the Show and Shine should be fun !!! and that is only part of one day...how can you not come hang out at this
one ??? and believe me I am in for all of the games, the races, everything !!!

Anyone who might be considering this run...If you are going to stay at the host hotel the remaining rooms not used in our block will be returned to public availability on August 2nd. and the hotel is currently full except for our block so they might go pretty quickly...Remember the hotel is offering rooms at $91.00 per night. You can still take advantage of pre-entry to the event at $15.00 instead of the at the gate price of $20.00, this fee is per HHR and is not based on the number of people in the HHR...25 days and a wake up !!! I would love to see the parking lot full and a nice long line of gorgeous HHRs on the two cruises, you guys know how people stare when a long line of HHRs rolls through...so cool !!!

 

Pat, for those of us who did pre-entry should we have received anything in the mail or just when we get there?

 

We will have your record, but if you would like I will get all pre-entries from Oldschool and make sure that you are notified...good question, my bad for not thinking of that...Tomorrow is August 1 the days are clicking off now !!! The Hot Wheel track will be finished by Thursday night and I will start building the Bean Bag Toss game Friday...Phew !!!
