G2G Car Show/Family Fun Day Chicago Area

Hey All,

The town I live in is having a Car Show/Family Fun Day on Sept. 27th starting at 8:00 am and lasting most of the day.

I have entered my 08 SS in the show and figured that we could make it into a G2G as well.

The Fliers and Registration form are located in my gallery for now.

It only costs $10.00 to enter the show and the first 100 people to register get a trophy and free lunch. I checked this morning and only 35 people have registered so far.

As it says in the title, this is also a family fun day and will include activities for the kids, music, food vendors, as well as the car show.

Is there any interest in this event as a G2G?

The Event is located at the Schiller Park Illinois Metra Train Station parking lot and should be lots of fun.

Check out my gallery for the information on this event and anyone with questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for the support Rudy!

I hope that at least several people show, and anyone that hangs on the Cobolt or Sky/Solstice sites please feel free to pass on this information.

I have one person interested from this site and one from the Cobaltss.net site. Its a start!

I will be there for sure, but it would be nice to see some fellow HHR/Sky/Solstice/Ion/Cobalts show up for this event. It should be a really great time and there are quite a few cars signed up already.

BTW this event is free if you are not going to show your car, so come out and enjoy the event and check out other peoples cars.

Sorry I was on my Honeymoon when this thread was posted. I'll check out that weekend and make sure nothing else is going on. I don't know of anything yet tho so I'll plan on making it.

Not sure if I'll be entering or not. Will decide that going forward... when is the deadline?

Deadline is the morning of. Registration is at 8am-10am and the show is from 10am-whenever. It would be great to see some additional HHR's represent.

I hope the honeymoon was great.
