What was the final tally on this one. My weekend filled up but I may be able to squeeze this in.

Anyone going? Rudy? I know SPPD has to work it and should be there. Anyone else?

Tom,

Bart confirmed on the cobalt site that he will be there, and it looks like several cobalts are gonna come out as well. The more the better imo. Hopefully the weather will be ok, as of now it is calling for storms on Sunday. It is too early to say for sure about the weather and hopefully people can come out and have some fun.

See you there, What would be a good time.

I hope to be there by noon or 1PM if not sooner.

Sounds good Rudy. I will be the one standing by the black SS

I hope some others just decide that they are gonna attend. The location is the Schiller Park, IL Metra Station. The station building is located on the west side of the tracks along Ruby Street between 25th Avenue and Lawrence Avenue.

This event is in the morning. If anybody who wasn't planning on attending finds themselves with nothing to do, come on out. The weather looks like it is gonna be nice, and it should be a great time.

Ken
I stop by were your HHr was but I could not fine you, It's a shame that yours was the Only HHr there but there must of been 50 + cars there. It was a very nice family days event. I parked in front of the Angels of Design Co. I took some Pic's but the card was not formatted right so I am working on that. I called you at 12:25 from Micky D's while I was getting an Ice Cream cone. We must meet up before the winter arrives. I spoke to Tom before I left and He is not feeling well. So we have to do a g2g real soon at some one House for a BBQ or something.

Sorry I couldn't make it guys. Was already a busy weekend and being put down with flu or whatever this is didn't help.

You know me... any time. Just say the word and if it's possible at all, I am there.

Well this event turned out really well, in total there were 165 cars on display...I was the only HHR. Unfortunatly some parents were letting their kids play on the train tracks so I ended up having to be up there 90% of the day.(I was working the event and showing my car) The few times I was able to go by the HHR I recieved many complements. It feels pretty good when a guy with a classic vette worth $75,000 dollars tells you that he loves your car and may go buy one after seeing it.

A Special thanks to Rudy the Z-man for coming out! Unfortunatly I was not able to meet up with him.

This event is already in the planning stages for next year so hopefully it becomes an annual event and with more time to plan we can make it a large G2G. There is some talk that it may become a 2-3 day event next year.

I will upload some pics later.
