I agree hats off to SCALEGUY!! (Pat) you rock man the rest of us owe you big time brother!!! p.s. scale i have about 30 metal signs in my garage would love a custom one or three from these Rukus guys!! keep me informed about an engine for your boys car i still have 1 or 2 lyin around that could use a good home and cant think of a better one than your new one!! later all!

This has been a blast and I have really enjoyed it, but the best part has been the response of the guys who are here all of the time, it is great to see people excited about the run. I also think it is so cool that so many people who have never done car shows before are stepping up for this we are going to have a blast !!! Again you guys out west, come on jump in the HHRs and drive 'em over, you will not go home disappointed...Hey is anybody staying overnight, maybe we hook up for breakfast or a lunch time cookout Sunday...let me know if anyone is interested...Does anyone need any more information right now, directions etc. I will be providing a cell phone number for emergency contact, directions etc, as the run date gets closer. I have printed about thirty small coloring books for the kids, the games are being planned and I even have my son's girlfriend and her friends helping so the kids will be entertained, oh and I will be finishing the hot wheel track soon. Thank you all for the kind words, but I have some self-serving motives...I need a new group of friends, great people who love their vehicles and are willing to have fun with them...I think that I have found them!!!

hey Scale the wife and i will probably stay over night cause im gonna have to take her on the boat sometime!! LOL so i need to know of some nice hotels near by! Then maybe we could do the breakfast thingy!! thanx again bud!!

Oldschool this should help, and might be good for anyone else looking to stay overnight in the area...www.roadsideamerica.com, go to the right hand side of the site, select hotel motel finder, select Illinois then select Peoria, East Peoria and Washington, that will give you a fairly good idea of what is avaliable. If you find a couple that interest you, let me know and I will get any specific info and let you know...Also the Par-a-dice casino has a hotel, if you need me to check that let me know.
