I might even go now that my HHR is (dare-I-say) operational (again, for now)... (long story for those who arent familiar with the trials and tribulations my HHR seems to have been having) It has been out of commission for various WARRANTIED problems, which dealers were unwilling to cover under warranty for at least 30 out of the last 90 days....

I am SOOOO very excited about the interest in the Quad-Cities Get2gether in April!

I have a couple of things I'd like to get verified with those who are interested in coming. If you could answer in the order they're asked I would really appreciate it!

1. Are you interested in "racing" at Cordova? (I need a count, becuase if we have enough interested, we can get our own race!)

2. Are you interested in doing a Dinner/Dance cruise on a Mississippi River boat? (So I can get reservations!)

3. Will you require a hotel room for the night? (So I can look for the best deal for you all!)

4. IF you are NOT interested in a Dinner/Dance cruise on the Mississippi River, would you be interested in just cruising to either a Maid Rite or Culvers? (If so, I would like to get together with one of them~let me know your preference!)

If you could let me know, so that I can make this the bestest ever, I would love it! So looking forward to seeing everyone!

I would be interested in racing at Cordova and will go with the group as far as the Riverboat cruise, but for me a cruise to the MAid-Rite would be smoking...Pat

 

1. I would probably not race, but would love to watch others at the strip. This is my daily driver that I depend on to get me to work, so I don't want to take any chances on tearing anything up.

2. I'll either be there alone or with my 8 year old son, so I doubt I would stay for a dance cruise.

3. I will most likely be haeding home that night, but there is a possibility of staying somewhere the night before, but I'm not sure yet. Either way I can take care of reservations since I would stay somewhere along the way to break up the trip like I did with the starved rock run.

4. A run to Maid Rite or Culvers sounds great. Never been to either place, but there isn't much in the way of food I don't like.
