Hi everyone! As you all know, our wonderful friend Z-Man (Rudy) is gearing up for a very tough battle in his life. I have been in touch with him about having a gathering, if you will, to visit with him. I am planning to meet up with him this Sunday, Oct. 19th, at around 11'ish, place yet to be determined (I have suggested to him, somewhere close to his home so he does not have to travel). I suggested this day becuase it is the day before he starts his hefty chemo regime and we can boost him up, like he has boosted MANY of us on this site up. He had suggested going to Navy Peir and doing a luncheon cruise, it's about $50. I would just as soon meet at a McDonald's and give Rudy the $50, personally!

If you are interested, let me know and keep a watch on this site for further information!

Hi all! I just got off the phone with Rudy and he would still like to meet at Navy Pier and he said there is even a McDonald's we could sit, eat and visit at! I told him I'd see him there about 11'ish on Sunday. I hope that if you have the day free that you, too, can join us!

 

I am in.. just let me know the exact time and I will be there.

Rudy has done so much for me in the short time I have been here so this is the least I can do. :)
