Hey Guys/Gals, not really sure about the plans, timing and such...but, if, and I say if, there`s a bunch of you coming from the west, in like a "CONVOY", and the "Three Amigos" were to meet you at a spot just outside of town, we could have like a mini parade through Chi-Town on the way to the show.
Just a thought, could work, might not...Heck, there could be others on the South end of town who may want to join in. B/B

my route will bring me onto 41 (Lake Shore Drive) and McCormick Place off of 55/94, if there were to be a convoy I could adjust my route...Pat

The real convoy opportunity might be from McCormick to Navy Pier...having said that I also thought that if there are those who would like to save on parking at Navy Pier we could consider leaving some of the HHRs at McCormick and rolling over to Navy Pier with everyone in fewer vehicles...just a thought. I think it would be righteous to roll a convoy though the loop, "The Miracle Mile" up Lake Shore Drive, but I am open to whatever the group decides...Pat

Opps almost forgot, any cruise in Chicago will be made tougher by the traffic volume and by city laws so maybe Nova or Z-man could do further checking before any plans are made...

Well there`s still time. Was just a idea. Not sure which city traffic laws apply.
Driving from McCormick - Navy Pier would be fine.

I may want to join in on this. I wouldn't mind the trip.

Your best bet is to go right up Lakeshore dr to the pier, nice views, more reasonable traffic. If you go up Michigan or State thru the Loop you`ll be broken up by lights long before you get there. Don`t forget the Dan Ryan is under construction from Halsted north.
Just offhand ,why did you chose to go to the BillyGoat? I know it`s famous but the burgers aren`t that great. The pier location isn`t much more than a cafeteria. If it`s the novelty ok but if it`s for food there`s lots better places in the same vicinity.
