Calling all Southern Ohioans...

Does anyone have any experience with putting in Underbody lights or anything of the like?

Cash or other payment offered.. Take your pick! ;-)

Kevin

Don't think I'm violating any "Official Secrets Acts" here, but Kev got himself a nice new employment gig.

Congrats on your new post Kev!

Kevin-

Well, if that's the case-- Congratulations!! I too was wondering why the name change. Reminds me of a while back when 'CrazyCarKid' turned to 'UrbexHHR'. I guess if you have a new name that you like better, then there's nothing wrong with that.

Find a friend with a Jack and 4 Jack Stands. And some very basic tools, and you can do it yourself on a Saturday and be out cruising that evening with your underbody light kit in all it's glory, and you can say you did it yourself.

Use the Labor money you are offering for your next Mod, and then do that one yourself too.
These kits are pretty easy basic installs, 12 volt nothing to be scared of, just do it.

It's really not that hard to do. Watch these two vids.

A&P My cute (female) neighbor agreed to help me for a 6pack of her favorite drink. Told me I'd get to share it with her.

Hardest part will be mounting them correctly. After that, wiring should be a cake walk.

The longer ones that go along the side of the car are easy to get mounted up out of the way. As for the front and rear lights, you will have to figure out a decent place to fit them, I know I had a hard time when I did my green ones on my 2LT.

I'm concerned about the rear one. djr, where did you mount your rear one? I have 48" for sides, and 36" for front and rear, and 24" for behind the grille glow..

I am also trying to figure out how to go about getting the wiring from behind the firewall inside the cabin..
