I crashed my SS back in May and I am trying to get it out of the shop. I was wondering if there is anyone with an SS who lives in Waterford/Clarkston area who could come to my work so I can put it on a hoist and see how the exhaust looks, mine may be bent. My insurance needs to see that it isn't right so they can fix it, they don't think there's a problem. I work at a dealership and I may be able to get you a free oil change for doing this, or buy you lunch or something. It would help me out a lot. It would have to be done this week.

 

Can't help you with a lift obviously, but check with the local community college, sometimes you can rent/borrow a lift in the auto shop for a nominal fee/donation.

 

I believe he wants an SS to compare his with, not a lift.

 

Yeah, my bad there Brad, thought he was after a way to look at his system for damage rather than comparing to a like unit. File it under old age and a long day.

Yeah i have access to a lift i just need another car with stock exhaust to compare it with.

 

How about pictures of the exhaust? That won't work for you? Or you are looking for side by side comparison?
