Well next friday will be my last friday class until the middle of august when fall semester starts.

Actually I have class mon, weds, and fri, then the mon after I have my final exam for my physics class. then off til middle of august.

 

Well, I have no class at all.....

 

well I get to go to class all summer... Jerks.. lol

 

I am taking the summer off, havent had a break since I started back to school in Jan of 09.

 

Eric, it just hit me but this will be a very fitting date for this G2G considering it will be the 5th year anniversary of chevyhhr.net We can help celebrate the place that brought us all together

Depending on exact schedules,I might just be able to make this shindig and here's why that's the case.You may have seen that I altered my signature to "friendly EX GM parts man".I got laid off on April 16th and things were looking mighty grim.I was very down,wondering what was next.Well,what was next was my buddy sending me a link on April 25th to a parts job in Ferndale,Mi, about a 20 minute ride from my house.I faxed my resume over on Monday and Tuesday I had an interview.I got called today and the job is mine!I start on May 4th.The dealership is open on Saturdays but one of the guys has an arrangement with the parts manager to work all the Saturdays because he's newly married and rather than travel all over the state doing inventories he can stay close to home and earn money at the shop.That works for me-he can work as many Saturdays as he wants. I'll have to work a few Saturdays a year but not many.I just hope that 8-21 isnt one of them.
