Just a dusting here in Canton. I spend about 3 hours this afternoon chipping 1" of ice from my driveway. But let it snow let it snow! I am headed to Tampa for a week. 60 degrees and rain is better than cold and snow! I am taking an extra suitcase to bring back some warm temperatures (and maybe some sun).

Well it is just a really, really light snow now after dumping about 7" at my house today. So much for the 1-2 or 1-3" they were calling for last night on the news. They said "oh we will be lucky to see about an inch out of this front moving in on saturday", well guess what, they were freakin WRONG again, lol. I just spent the last couple of hours shoveling out my blacktop driveway again. We will see how long the driveway stays clean, suppose to get more snow on monday.

I didn't know it was supposed to snow downstate today! It never snowed up in 'muth. Went to Detroit to go to some museums, and on the way home it was nasty! Started getting really bad when we got on 75 at Mack, and traffic crawled at about 15-25mph all the way from there until we got to about Auburn Hills... It was terrible out!

Yeah, it started snowing just before I left school at 10:30 this morning, and by the time I got home it was snowing so hard you could hardly see 20 feet in front of you.

Well it was snowing all afternoon, but the main roads weren't that bad earlier... I wanted to take a few pictures outside the Michigan Central Station in Detroit, but you could barely see it with all the snow...(which normally you can see it from miles away).

The ice-dams are finally sliding off the roof and crashing onto the iced over snow in the yard & on the deck.
We're supposed to have a couple more 50+ days this week.
