Indianapolis New HHR Owner

Hey! I am in Indianapolis, IN and I bought a 2010 HHR 2 weeks ago. I love it and find out more and more everyday. It had 41451 actual miles on it.

I'm not from Indiana but in the early 70's I won a trip to the Indianapolis 500. I had called a local radio station to request a song and was the 25th caller and just won. Didn't even know they were having a contest.

I have to say that I really don't remember much of it, not even who won. We all got to take a tour of pit row and I have a picture of me and part of the rest of our group standing by AJ Foyt.

They picked us up in a big party buss and the beer and mixed drinks were free. They also nearly fed us to death. It was a good time but sometimes I wish I remembered who won.

So does that count?

Pretty sure it was Johnny Rutherford....

I'm a Hoosier living "over yonder" from Tire Rack and "hither too" Hoosier Tire, by virtue of birth and not having enough sense to move away.
