The part that sticks up above the hood and the stock air box should handle that. 3" ID matches the factory flex hose.

Monkey around with the inlet air........you'll probably trigger 1 or more CEL's related to intake air flow.

I think it's possible...
I see it weekly at work, the guys straighten the bumpers of Schmitz semi-trailers after incidents with almost their bare hands. With just a sledgehammer and a couple of curse words.

I'll probably shoot everything but the fenders to start and get the decals on before starting the real butchery. Replacing the bumpers and opening up the fenders and making flares/liners and running boards. Hopefully I'll have a few nice days to shoot paint coming up. Already got deglosser and DA pads.
Finished except for the scoop. I'll have to see what I can find locally or order something online.

Here it is less the scoop. 3/8" foam gasket and it's sealed!

The 1" sticking through the hood and the factory filter housing should manage any water induction.

Holy crap I hope not. I just fixed all the idiot lights and need to get through emissions. I'll hold off on the ram air scoop until I clear emissions. Only real difference is it's not pulling from inside the fender

On my old Dodge Dart(like the Duster) I had 2 predators with a ram air scoop on the hood. At around 100mph I had +8lbs at the manifold.
