A 3.5" spacer/ adapter should make it just like stock in the front. The back will end up about 4" wider each side.

Heck I can order a trailer axle for the back and fab the rest. I'm half thinking about moving the rear wheels back a few inches 2 trailing arms welded to the axle with spring perches on top of the axle and a shock mount.

First bumper mock up didn't work as planned but now I have a clear picture of what to do. I slapped this together months ago just guessing. Mocking up with stud is way cheaper. I decided that I'm going to use the angle of the factory brackets to push the center forward past the grill slightly and just let the ends slope back. I should have it mocked up in stud tomorrow. Once I have that how I want it I'll start fabbing the back. 2x8 steel channel isn't cheap so I'm glad to have scavenged studs laying around. So I'm thinking a 16" center section 2 miters and end caps and maybe a winch on the front. So should I go Black or green with the bumpers?

Got the front bumper mocked up. Straight wouldn't have looked right straight so I followed the line of the headlights. I like it!!! Once I get the back I'll cut the channel.

The area between the bumper and the tire... should the bumper wrap around more?

You should extend the fender down in front of the tire somewhat.

It's still an option but I kinda like the open look. I'll live with it for a few days. I still might change a few things. Maybe narrow the front to extend it maybe to make room for a winch or something. I'll tackle the rear next and look at it for a few days. Looking forward to the P40 nose art and hood lettering to get here. I'm also trying to find some old dually wheels cheap so I can order the spacer/adapters. It's cool how they're even 16x6.5 like the stockers.so I can get some good measurements.

I am planning a skid plate of sorts to protect the bottom of the radiator.
