Flowmaster on HHR SS = misfires on NLS?

I recently put a flowmaster 40 deltaflow on my HHR SS. I love the way it sounds, but I noticed that sometimes when I NLS 2-3, I get a misfire. I am thinking it is possibly because of the muffler since flowmasters are chambered. What do you guys think?

My mods are: ZZP intake, ZZP catted DP, ZZP IC and charge pipes, and their canned tune.

Misfire or backfire?....Mine backfired and was louder with a muffler delete. If you have less noise reduction, the backfires are louder than stock...

Yeah, thinking you mean backfire. The first time I got the "SS backfire" after my muffler delete, I got some nasty stares from the cars around me.

Its not the NLS backfire, you can actually feel the engine miss and once in a while the CEL flashes (mifire). It seems to be clearing up now, so I think the computer just needed to adjust itself like it always does when you change something.

I've gotten that once or twice, too, on NLS. Especially from 2-3. It's one thing if you are referring to the backfire/clunky noise that comes from any NLS, but outside of that I have also had the engine sound like misfire before and flashing of a CEL. Scared the crap out of me.

I think it's because sometimes I've taken it up pretty close to the redline before attempting the shift - sometimes my LNF doesn't like that at all. By the way, my mods are ZZP Catted DP and Trifecta premium.

Also, not to sidetrack, but do you have any videos of your exhaust, OP? I've been thinking of saving a little money on the sound I want to get by just swappin' mufflers, curious how yours sounds.
