Thank you. Being in California, I'm trying to minimize the grief I can get from changing stuff that I may have to revert back for emissions checks. The stock intake setup is good enough that I'm not losing anything by leaving it in and trying to make it fun. I put my dough in HPTuners instead. I may explore a Lexan fusebox lid next. Here are the latest pictures with the K&N under the Lexan.

I don't blame you, if I could trade my FXDLi for an FXDL with the Carb, I'd do it in a second! Not only does the Fi (Fool Infection), make the bike run hot but the delco injector relays burn up because of it. Everyone I know that does long trips carries several spare relays in their saddlebags. I guess the upside is you can bake a potato for lunch on long trips just by putting it in foil and stuffing it behind the rear cylinder.

(Sorry for the threadjack)

As long as you're jacking my thread, I'd like to add to it. Both of my bikes are carb'd. My Yami FZ1 has, basically, a naked R1 engine painted black. Boy does that thing dump heat on my legs. Now after tuning so many carb jets, it sure is a relief to me to tune something like the HHR where I can log my drive and tune in the comfort of my house.

Finished my lid last week, just got around to getting a pic of it today. Thanks for the idea. Most people make the same face as Mr. Chan

Love it! Two questions. How do you like the sound of it? Did you you tune the MAF? I never got any CEL driving with no tune and the lid off even.
