Be sure to check the tightness of the bolts at regular intervals.. They can loosen up...

I used Red Loctite & every check, they are still at 45 ft lbs..

I was looking at buying one of these sway bars,
I have read some posts on here saying the hhrs actually handle better without the rear sway bar.
I can see where my 2LT with the 17's handles better than I would expect in the corners but I do feel the body roll and it feels more like the back than the front.
Just wondering to those that have installed this bar feel the defininte improvement.
the other brand out there is just more money than I would like to spend, I have too many other parts for the other cars to buy.
Also how much is the current price and where is the best place to buy?

It might work ok on lt, but wouldn't suggest for SS. I sold mine for 100.00. I'm sure Aaron at TTr would have one for you.

?????. So why not for an SS? I put the TTR bar on mine and I'm very happy with the improvement. Less body roll is what I notice most.

Take it off and see how much it was making your steering push into the corners. I owned one for a year, and it does make it flat. Try the Powell, and you will see. Really I bought and paid for both of them, and my conclusion is there is no comparison, I was happy with the TTR to start with, till I took it off and noticed how great the car went around a corner, without it. Only takes 5min. to try it. I almost didn't order the powell, but glad I did. It will work with the Fe5, practically pulls the car around the corner. I love Aaron as much as the next HHR.net member, the upper mount is awesome, and I will probably buy some Xa coilovers from Him. The bar not so much.

Yours looks good in red, they special powdercoated mine blue
