I have a 2LT and have had the TTR sway bar for over a year. First drive I felt a big difference and couldn't get the smile off my face. Every time I go around a corner or the clover leaf getting onto the highway maybe just a little too fast, I'm very glad I installed the bar. Of all the mods I've done, this was the best bang for the buck.

Best buy for the $

If i had an ss i probabaly wouldn't need it, but for the hhr 2lt its the best upgrade you can buy for your money bar none... I feel a definite difference the minute i started driving and with the bar and the cobalt springs together oh my god what a difference!!

Only takes 5min. to try it. I almost didn't order the powell, but glad I did. It will work with the Fe5, practically pulls the car around the corner. I love Aaron as much as the next HHR.net member, the upper mount is awesome, and I will probably buy some Xa coilovers from Him. The bar not so much.

Yours looks good in red, they special powdercoated mine blue
Ok. I remember how it drove before the swaybar. Good handling with a degree of body roll . Since the swaybar, alot less body roll, but I haven't noticed any more steering push.Trust me, I did some before and after runs just to compare.
Now I don't drive like a bat out of hell, but I was looking to firm up the cornering just a bit. Maybe some SS's react a little different than others with a swaybar. The Powell bar seems to be more than I personally need.
Also, I'm still on the original Pilots at 21k miles.
To make it clear,I'm not saying your wrong by any means,I'm just comparing a few experiences with you.

No wonder it looks brand new under there it is Your right some of these cars are a little freaky with the things they do different than the next one. Fun though

I don't drift through every corner either, but I feel the bar working on most turns.

I can see where my 2LT with the 17's handles better than I would expect in the corners but I do feel the body roll and it feels more like the back than the front.
Big Jack-

I think if you just swapped the rear coil springs for '08-09 Cobalt SS/TC springs, the 1-1/8" lower really makes a big diff on the bends.. & the springs are comparable ride quality for the 2LT's like mine..Plus I haul stuff.

I have em on my Panel, love them !!!
about a month later, after much testing I added a rear 1" bar..Just to test it.

I'm set, love the twisties..

Thanks sleeper
Did the ride quality suffer at all?
Did you have to cut the bumpstops down?

BigJack-

No, it rides great..But handles much better than oem..

No need to cut the bump stops. I haul stuff, & have Never bottomed out on the stops..
