Yea this site has helped me with some quick tips & inspiration. I attempted these mods after reading a few "how to" threads. Live & learn. It's about 50ish here so I didn't know how the cold temp would effect it. I let the tail lights sit over night after I did the final coat of tint. This morning I did the clear coats & compound. Side markers are almost done & look so much better.

if you let paint dry before the next coat it will turn out bad, you will have to re-scuff the surface again for the paint to adhere to, thats why you dont wait long between coats

I think the side markers came out great.
The screw holding them in was a little rusted &kinda stripped which was a pain. Took only 2 easy coats of tint to get them blacked out. I replaced the bulbs with silver star 194 since passenger side burnt out.

Temp & humidity are key factors...

Lower temps & /or higher humidity will require longer 'flash' times. You can also pre-heat the part(s) with a heat gun, or hair dryer.

Also best to keep paint Inside warm house till you use it..

Looks pretty Good

Yea I kept the chemicals inside while using them. The spray flow was difficult when it was cold. I'm learning as I go. I'm so glad you guys do "how to" posts with pics.
