Hi, recently I installed some aftermarket headlights with black housing, looks great. The lights need to be adjusted down (people warn me constantly by blinking theirs) . The oem headlights could be adjusted from inside the car with a leveling switch. Is there a way to lower the beams ?
Does the high beam/low beam switch work the same as the Owner Manual describes? I'm wondering if the Euro headlight laws are way different from USA. I know there is a standard that the right headlight gets adjusted further to the right than ours, and high beams are reserved for countryside driving only.
BTW, the red gasket is the one that makes it impossible to install a new bulb. Remove it before you try to install new bulb.
The adjuster on the driver’s side headlight In the red circle the adjuster is still there! This appears to be the passenger side. I’m not sure how the motor is connected to adjust the head light.
