Black Grill/Accessories

I just bought a 2008 LT with 28,400 miles. So to say I am new to the HHR, well lets say I have owned it new for 3 hours. I am seeing pictures of these with black grills, running boards, and rear spoilers. What aftermarket companies make these parts. I want the black, because I am not a big fan of the chrome look and I like black wheels. Are there any aftermarket companies that cater to these vehicles?

to the forum, and congrats on your new ride!

Try out the "Search" function at the top of the page, you'll find good info on grilles. Folks here paint them black, Plasti-Dip them black, or go with the GM accessory grille in black chrome.

And you can also find good info on rims using the "Search" function.

Be sure to check out the Classifieds section, rims, grilles, and other parts show up there all the time.

Plus, check out our supporting vendors here for accessories, performance parts, and performance tuning services.

Running boards are a factory part, as are two different spoiler styles. LS/LT trims could be had with a hoop spoiler, the SS had a lip spoiler.

Most of the black grilles you've probably seen are billet grilles, although a modifying/painting the stock grille is a popular mod.
