I like the look, it looks great. I think I would have used some satin Black vinyl though, just for the ease removal and replacement plus I think the vinyl would hold up better over the long run. Modern vinyls can last up to 12 years outdoors now with the high grade stuff. (Sign guy's opinion)
You worked with what you like so great job.
Now, just shave those rear door handles and you have your Nomad.

i would think vinyl would be quite hard to lay on it. Not impossible but hard.
Just to get a nice straight line on the car without wiggles, would be a fun task through that area since it has complex curves and so forth.
I wouldn't be painting my car, so I would probably try vinyl and probably get pretty ticked off doing it.

I like that blacked-out look on the white and the art deco font on the door goes with the look of the car--very nice.

While any reason to gather is good, you will need some THIN vinyl if you want the light to show thru, Johnny Law just hates that. Depending on what Tim says and how much it costs, I really want to try this.
