just went to my local auto parts store with the paint code and got a quart for about $20

what prep work did you do prior to painting it?

i'd actually scuffed and painted it black before settling on doing a 3-bar.
so THAT took sanding all the old paint off, filling in the holes left from cutting the two bars out with fiberglass and body filler, then treating it like a body panel:sand everything smooth, prime (just used rattle can primer).

the sanding was the roughest due to going through "rattle can black".

Heres mine. To many people have done 3 bar grilles. So i went with a simple painted grill. Looks good on the red.
