So i was able to get my hands on a cheap set
of chrome door handle covers...
? paint them White to match car
or black to match my accent color?
Whatcha think loosing the chrome slowly but shurly.

How about plasti-dip them?

 

Well its actually a good idea Breadfan, you could Plasti-Dip them jeff to see if the black color would work with the look you're after.

If it does, peel off the Plasti-goop and paint them up proper for a permanent mod.

 

No charge.

The going rate for bad ideas would seem to be a closed thread or a deleted post. Fortunately, I seem to have exhausted all my bad ideas in my younger days and am left with only good ones.

 

body color handles

 

I just did my chrome handles with plasti dip. Was nice because I didn't even have to remove them from the wagon. They turned out nice but I don't think they last more than a few months. It you want something permanent...take your time, sand them down, throw a coat of primer on and paint them. The black handles really looks good though!
