Front end cover / bra

Anybody use one? Thinking of the sport bra model. Drive through heavy interstate construction daily. Will be under construction for several years (works project LOL!) Either get the hood damaged from rocks and construction debris or from what I hear, the cover.

If anyone uses one would like to hear what they think.

I've been using a Colgan full bra for about a year and am very pleased. The quality is excellent, it's secure when driving, and folds away in its own pouch (extra cost). I, as well as others, have had problems getting the bra once ordered. It seems the factory is always running behind. It took me two months to get mine.

most tint shops or dealerships around town will install the 3M Clear Bra material .. it will cost you 450-600 depending on where you get it, but if done right you can barely tell its there and it will protect your paint . once you get ready to sell the car, remove it, buff the area, and its seamless! the colgan bra being black covers the painted areas , but also sun fades the areas it is covering, so when removed years later it wont be chipped up , but will have a sun fade line

The bra fits pretty tight. I have noticed that at speeds, it opens up a bit along the outer edge of the headlights, from the airflow. I do have at least one chafe spot just below the left headlight. If a large enough rock hits it you won't see the damage until you take the bra off. The paint on these vehicles isn't the best and chips fairly easily. I did a cross country drive during the summer and have picked up many chips in the paint. At least the windshield only chipped when a nickle sized rock hit that. Going through construction zones is a bear. If the road surface is being done watch out for the asphalt spatters on the paint also. The bra is good for saving the front paint from bugs and other small soft stuff, not much else. And yes, you will wait quite a while for delivery of a Colgan Bra. They don't make them until you order one.
Here is what the rock did to the windshield:

Once I cleaned off the smoke trails from the rock, it had only left some chipping in the glass. Scared the Shanola out of me at the time though.
