When I moved from Cali to Tucson I bought a new Mustang from a local dealer in Cali. When they told me they had to put the front plate on it once it arived I asked can you just ship it/deliver it to my uncles house in Phoenix and I would pick it up there??? Well I ended up with a Ford racing flags plate once I got to Tucson. Man did that suck having those holes in there. I think my HHR has always been a Arizonan so no holes for me.

Might watch as the in the window trick seldom works. If the cop is anal enough for pulling you over for the plate they will be anal enough to get you for it not being bolted to the car.

This is why I have the retractable plate on both cars. It is even marginal but I put them up when I am in areas where they enforce it. The one for the HHR I bought the one on the Fiero I made. Once down it looks like a bracket.
