Front Of Rear Tire Gunk Accumulation

Is there anything I can attach in this area or some kind of coating I can use here to stop the gunk accumulation in this area circled? It is freshly washed but still accumulates oil and dirt every week and is very scratched from pebbles and road debris. The red line on top is right above a line in the ABS plastic so I'm wondering if this area is dual-layered or something b/c of the fact that this part would get so much damage?

Get running boards. That's the best option. Other than that just keep that area cleaned every few days. I took a trip to Orlando in the rain a few months ago. When I got home that area looked black.
As far as the chips, not much you can do. Running boards protect that area.

They will help to a point but won't prevent everything. Want the best advice...never drive it.

Lol I take care of mine all the time. Still can't beat the road rash.

I wouldnt say they solve the issue, but they do help a great deal. Ive had running boards and splash guards since new, but this area still gets chipped and very dirty. Its a going concern, next only to the front area of the hood. Get a bottle of touch up paint, you will need it.

Did they stop putting the stone guards on the cars without boards. I have boards on my wife and myself HHR but they did not come with them. But I and my wife also came with stone guards ? I did not know that.
