Gray or Orange?

I´m planning to paint the front and rear bowties of my HHR (gold flakes issue). I´m planning to paint them Gray or Orange, but I can´t decide. What would you do? If you want, you can take a look to my gallery and check the paint work that I have.

or paint orange first, tape off what you want to keep orange, and paint gray.

if it were me, paint the whole plastic (gold) portion orange, like sunburst orange metallic, then take and tape off the angle portion of the bowtie and paint the front flat portion gray.. know what I meant Juan?
