My first post "after the intro of course" I have seen a lot of pics of grilles with the lettering "Chevrolet" on the front, can anybody tell me how people are doing this, is it just vinyl stick on letters or if they are raised letters how do you get the center letter "R" to bend and conform to the grill.-- thanks in advance.

 

I got my HHR Grille Decal '49 suburban style vinyl decal from scottsstickers.com.



The lettering is curved to conform with the profile of the grille and has alignment points to help center the it on the grille. I also optioned for the hash marks.

Or if you want something totally custom, design one yourself and find a place that does vinyl cutting.

 

I got mine at Scott's too! They were very easy to apply too.
