We are not listed in the compatability list link on the page you linked to. This may not mean that we are not able to use it but it makes it look like we are not able to. It lists vehicles as new as 2011 and also lists specialty vehicles like the SSR which is why I say it may very well mean that we cannot use this product.



Looked at the list again for the other two delta platform cars, the Cobalt and G5, and only the 2005 Cobalt was listed. The G5 was not even listed at all. I am leaning even further towards NO.

Call Galls support tech line and ask them. They do have other wig-wag units available also.

My professional opinion. I wouldn't want to splice into my own cars headlight wiring system.
A good seperate beacon or flasher unit is just as effective.

 

Don’t see why it wouldn’t work. The HHR headlights are not a ground switched system, so you are good there.

Figure 2 of the wiring diagram is what needs to be followed. There is a fuse for each of the right and left high beams in the HHR engine compartment fuse box so all connections could be done there. One might even rig up additional fuses, remove the stock fuses and do all the connections within the fuse box – simple and the work can be backed out with no damage to the vehicle.
