I Got The HHR Teazer High Profile Hood Scoop (Cowl Hood Scoop)

BAJATRAILRIDER (Larry) has my HHR Teazer High Profile Hood Scoop (Cowl Hood Scoop) in his possession!

Larry and his wife picked it up for me, I can't Thank you both enough for going out of your way like this for a total stranger.

Thanks so much.

Larry was in the body and fender trades for over 40 years, so having him say-
"Its great its flexible,so you can make it high or low.It is big almost did not fit in HHR."

Is a relief for me, knowing he knows what he is looking at and how it Should be made.

Morticia should look pretty Sexy once her new Cowl Hood is molded in.

As soon as Larry has his wife send me the pics, I will post them up.

I am as Excited as a kid on Christmas Eve here!!! I Wanted one of these hood scoops since I first saw it.

As promised, Larry had his Wife send me a couple pics of My New HHR Teazer High Profile Hood Scoop (Cowl Hood Scoop).

With the '55 Chevy Tail Lights, the Rolled Front Windshield Visor and now the HHR Teazer High Profile Hood Scoop (Cowl Hood Scoop) all combined should set my little Black Panel apart from the other local ones around here.

Hopefully I can Show it more and win a few more.
Should get it late next week.

Awesome. Good luck!

Are those available, or was it a leftover that someone had?

Thanks, they were available, (still on the PTEAZER web site tho) Ray told me he Stopped making them, Unless HE or his shop did the actual install. Said he had people install it badly and later complained their seams started cracking.

I explained I had 12 years of body and fender work and would do the install Correctly.

He still did Not want to make and sell me one. Ray said he had plans to maybe make a Full HHR Hood with it already on. (He told me that a year or so ago too.) At about $900.00 or so Plus shipping.

He still hasn't made it, I told him I had NO interest in buying a full hood, it was either he made me the scoop, or I would make a mold for one myself and make it.

He then finally gave in and said he would have his fiberglass man cast me one last one.

Sad to say, he built himself a pretty BAD reputation on here and other car forums for not getting things done and shipped after taking the cash.
Those that live Close seemed to fair pretty well by going and Getting their items in person.

So I was able to get someone to go get it in person for me, this way he had No excuses, it was either done and ready for pick up, or it wasn't.

It was and Larry picked it up for me, and he will ship it out to me now that he has it.

Will he make another one? I can't say, he told me he would go ahead and make mine and it supposedly is the Last one he'll make.

Glad I talked him into making mine.

He said HEAT under the hood had caused some peoples installs to crack at the seam, and poor install work.

I believe him, makes sence as a former body and fender man.

Also he told me how to make it a Functional Cowl Hood, that would release alot of underhood Heat.

Man if ever there was a hood scoop to make your heart go "Pitter Pat", and your knees get weak, its that one.

I'll be counting the days until Morticia is sporting her new look.

Its gonna be awesome!
