Keep the black finish black

I just wanted to pass on a product that I use on tires, door seals and the black trim around the windows. I does not contain any silicone so it will not check crack the side walls on your tires. It makes everything black like it was new and will last several weeks before have to reapply the product. This product is called 303 Aerospace Protectant, it will work on vinyl, rubber, plastic, leather and fiberglass, they have a web site: www.303products.com.

Oh cool! Thanks for the heads up! Did you mail order yours or get it over at Midstate Marine on Main St. (sorry folks, please talk amongst yourselves while the Kannapolis guys jabber)?

Well that just shows how much attention I paid to the boat place on Main St. I'll just order it online, thanks again for the heads up, mental note to self...notice when the boat store closes down to avoid feeling stupid in public.

Mother's Back to Black has also worked very well for me. I've no clue if it's silicone based or not (I'll have to check the bottle in the garage). It lasts a few weeks as well.

The "303" has an added advantage. It has a UV inhibitor in it as well. I think it's something like a SPF15 .

Used this for years, after I found it for a marine application. It easily beats Armor All, Groits, Mothers, and various others....in a marine application as well as on dash tops, IMO. It also repeals dust.

303 Aerospace is a great product! I actually use it on interiors due to its not really shiny and drys to the touch.

For exterior trim I don't like using it due to it runs in the rain. If your looking for an exterior trim product that will last and doesn't run check out Ultima Trim & Tire Guard. It works great! A little on the pricey side but a little goes a long way. And it lasts months!

$72 for a gallon, 16oz bottle and wipes? That stuff better apply itself while I drink a beer for that kinda loot! Looks pretty cool tho.
