Lighted Bow Ties?

[B]Hi to all on this forum. I did a search but came up empty. I could have sworn I've seen pictures of a mewmber's HHR with front and rear bow ties lit up. Was I dreaming or did indeed someone have something like that? If it was a dream does anyone here share my dream? There's got to be a way to do it. What say you folks?

Don't know how long this link is good for but....

Be carefull because they say front, but are actually flat which really would be for the rear.

Measure 3 times.....

I recall a member(?) who had red reflector tape covering his emblem. He then took a picture at night with flash. The reflection in the picture made it look like the emblem was lit up along with the taillights. Can't remember who it was.

I've only seen the reflective tape that fireman mentions above, don't recall anybody doing lights.

That member would be steelroy from Carolina, he used red retro-reflective tape on his front are rear bowties, its a cool effect when the light hits them....here's two pics "borrowed" from his gallery.

There was a guy on here that had put an LED or a small light under his front bowtie, but I can't find it either. I believe it was under on of those "got bored" strands of postings. Personally, I didn't think it worked out well, but to each his own. It just didn't light up the entire bowtie well, and it glowed in an amber color with didn't work well for me either.

I've seen them, up close, guy in town has them on his Silverado. Never got a chance to ask him where he got them, it was at the supermarket. He may have done them his self but it looked killer. It was like a small neon glow around the edges, not the whole thing. Like a "halo" ring.

"Or.. is your memory that good."

Hate to say it firemangeorge, but its that good at times....then I do something dumb like misplace my cellphone for the millionth time this month.

Autozone has a lighted Bowtie made by Reese Hitch, here's a link to it.....

And an outfit called ACC makes an illuminated Bowtie for Camaro's that you might be able to adapt to an HHR. Here's a link to CamaroStyle who sells them, kinda pricy, but they look neat.
