I'm thinking way, way back, a member named Henry, did an aftermarket mod to his HHR that had LED sequential arrows on the outside mirrors.

Do not remember exactly what his screen tag was. Nor do I remember exactly what the lighting type was. He left this site, and parted his car out, maybe in '07 or early 08.

My point....did you attempt a search to locate anything?

I successfully put four LED chevrons in my side mirrors. It's been so long that I can't remember where I got 'em, though. There is two chevrons, about 2 1/2" high. I'm really happy with them, and they were pretty cheap. The hardest part was routing the wires through the mirrors/doors. They come with two-sided clear tape to hold 'em in place to the back of the mirrors.
I found 'em on 'Google' search,using: "Mirror LEDS" ??? Or just "LEDS" I remember it took me a while to find 'em.

thanks guys yeah i saw a pair on ebay that i liked no arrows just 2 small stips 6 leds on a strip both side that scanned accross as you turned.

Snoopy- I remember that member & the mod as well.. Just not his screen name. Had a black wagon stick shift, IIRC.

Would be cool if lights were in the glass & didn't block any of the mirror.. In a Panel, that is valuable real estate..

 

I am the member who has the heated signal mirrors, and they can still be custom made at Muth Mirror Systems. I love the setup, but it ended up costing over $500 installed! The thread is https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/mods-exterior-55/heated-mirrors-24879/

Hello Doctuh- been a while.

 

No Doc, it was somebody way before you. As I mentioned, in the first year or 2 of the HHR.
