This is going to be my next project. Can't decide of I want to stick to my black theme or throw a little red on them to set it off.

thats a tough one. Black would look good. But a little red with your theme may look really nice.

Red looks good with just about any color. I've already painted my drums black...those I'm not changing. I'll probably end up going black up front too. Bill the blue and red looks great!

I spray painted them...first I removed the calipers and mounting brakets. the calipers were still hooked to the brake line and kinda hanging there while i taped off all around the wheel and fender. I wire brushed and removed as much crap as i could, then sprayed parts cleaner on them and let them dry... then 3 coats of red engine block paint(same thing as caliper paint, only $2 cheaper) later I put it all back together. very good looking mod for $6.

And chef, in my opinion, the black would disapear in the wheel well...a bright color is alway best for these IMO. It is the only bright red thing on my car and still looks nice. Red will look nice with the silver

thanks for comments again! My brother already asked me "so, whats next"? It seems I have been modding most of the summer. transformers stuff, painted rims, painted calipers, smoked tail lights....Its only nice here for a short span of the year, so, without a heated garage, some projects must wait til summer

Hey I know the feeling! I've only had maybe a week or two since I got my wagon that I didn't do some sort of moddin' to it. I actually think I'm done for a while. The rest of the things I want to do besides paint the front calipers calls for more money than I have a that moment and require a few months of saving my allowance
