Need pics of peoples custome lower grills...NOT the gutter guard ones

Would like to see some pics of peoples custom lower grills....I really like the looks of the HHR PRECISION GRILLES and the way it compliments the chrome package. I know that I can put the mesh one in there but I'm not confident that it would hold up to anything larger than a small stone. My original one fell out in a car wash and I thought it was in there pretty solid.

The Precision Mesh lower looks great but is a sizable investment. Would like to know how peoples lower custom grills are holding out and if there has been any issues with stuff nailing the condenser.

The gutter guard one is nice in the fact that the holes are so small that it is tough for anything bigger than a pebble to get through...both the billet and wire mesh Precision Grilles look like stones could still get through

Pics and comments??

i purchased this type of material online. Its strong enough that it cannot be bent easily (compared to gutter screen). Cut it to measurements posted in this forum.

I then bolted them down with two small screw/nut combo on the two bottom ends. Look at the pic below and you will see the small screws. The top ends were inserted on the main bolts and bolted down as well.

Here's the link of the insert I purchased.

Precision Billet here. If the number of bugs caught on the grill is any indication of what will/won't make it through, then I have to believe that unless something is shot parallel w/ the bars, then not much is going to make it through.

I like the Carriage Works setup ivtech has. Not too many bars, not too few. Just right.

I used the Stull Billet Grille for top and bottom. I have the gutter guard mesh behind the lower grille for added protection. The top grille, both the billet and the original factory surround, were cut to work together.
