I did a quick Photoshop edit for you. Here's what black lugs would look like. I personally like it the way it is but black lugs don't look bad either.

I'm thinking about this myself. I saw a different Chevy this morning with chrome wheels, black centercaps w/ logo, and (shiny) black lug nuts. I thought of this thread. It looked really good in person. Maybe you could plasti-dip one set and hand screw them on to get some idea. Edit: Oh, and it might look better with the black lugs if the black/white on your center cap were reversed.

Once you go black, you never go back!

I had to buy new lug nuts because when I removed the wheel covers the stockers looked pretty bad. I actually wanted chrome but all they had in my size was black. The package of lug-nuts includes one that is a lock-nut (special socket needed to remove). Now that I've had them on the car for a few years they still look pretty good. There is some paint flaking but overall Im pretty impressed. My guess is that the paint is pretty thick to withstand the power-tools used when removing the wheels.
