Spoiler, yes.......wind blade, no. Spoilers don't help keep the rear window clean. Lund had one listed for the HHR, but never had any in stock before being discontinued.

I had seriously looked into having one custom made (professionally done, not HD) for Dory, but with the design of the rear gate, and how it opens, that's about as high as it could be mounted without scrapping the roof when opening the rear gate.

Thats pretty funny, at first I thought it was that extra louvered strip that comes with your mini-blinds.

In my skateboarding years, that would have made for a hand-hold.

Easy guys: some of the mods I've see on some HHR's come real close to this one. Not quite, but close. "Moon"

Well Moon, I have to say the even the ugliest, least thought out, and just plain awful mod inflicted upon a helpless HHR...would never be able to top the unspeakable things that PT owners do to them. Look away if you must, this is hideous, you've been warned.

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!My eyes!My eyes!At least it's a PT Cruiser and not one of our beloved rides.
As to the usefulness of those deflectors in keeping the back glass cleaner I can only speak of my experience with my prior ride,a 1997 Audi A6.It had one of those deflectors engineered in to the top of the endgate and it didn't help at all.The back glass got as dirty as my HHR does now.

And its from California, I just hope it never parks next to mine as it may rub some off, now I will have to be careful where I park.

While the colors and overall effect of the above cruiser jump at you (and not necessarily in a good way), here's a pic of a PT owned by a fellow where I work. The fin/spoiler on this thing is simply atrocious, serves no function whatsoever, except perhaps to be a chick-antimagnet.

I have NO idea what he's thinking, unless it's that he wants to keep JC Whitney in business forever.
