Is getting cobalt springs the best option for lowering in everyone's opinion? I've got an '07 HHR LT that I am starting to mod and lowering it is one of the first things I would like to do. Open to any opinions.

What cobalt springs you getting?

Whoops just read the post again. Thought it said you were getting cobalt springs.

I'm in the same boat as you. Not sure what to get yet.

I was thinking of dropping the back a bit lower than the front, saw that you can buy sets of 2 from andy's auto parts. Was thinking of going 2'' in the back and 1 in the front. I have the Duraflex body kit on it's way from california so I was going to wait and see what kind of room I was dealing with before buying some springs. I was just wondering what gets you the bang for your buck, I have a job but it doesn't pay as well as I would like it to lol, so I have to plan my purchases to work around my budget.

I had Eibach on my 65 c10 loved them, pedders on my SS, not so much, Aaron is having a sale on them. My SS springs on my panel are HHR fe-5, I like the look and the ride, I carry 400lbs in the trunk all the time. Thinking real hard on biting the coilover bullet on the short bus. http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/kw/variant-2.html

Must be expensive, don't even see a price listed! xD Im just looking for a quicker fix I suppose, was thinking about going with the Eibach kit, just didn't know if I could get the same effect from Cobalt springs at a junkyard.

If only there were a way to get as low as lunchbox's without dropping 2k+ on bags...

His is low, I think you can do it with cobalt SS springs, my panel sits 1/2" lower than the SS on the same spring, I think the difference is the panel has fe-3 shocks.
