If only there were a way to get as low as lunchbox's without dropping 2k+ on bags...
John- 2005-07 Cobalt SS/SC rear springs will drop 1-1/2" (soft ride)

& '08-'09 Cobalt SS/TC rear springs will drop 1-1/4" (I have on my Panel for a few yrs now).. (nice firm ride & can still haul a load)..

Thanks for the info sleeper, I'm gonna check around for some 07 cobalt's at junkyards in my area.

Installing new headlights and a billet grille tomorrow hopefully, if the weather permits. I'll post pictures if I can get around to it.

John- Make sure the 07 'balt does NOT have 4 bolt wheels, that would not be an SS/SC (Super Charged) model..

Jeff- The sway bar has no effect on lowering. Just handling.

Yeah I picked some up from the ol' junkyard today, got all 4 strut assemblies for 40 bucks!

The Cobalt I got them from was completely totaled, the front 2 struts have some pretty intense damage but the springs are intact and in working order. Since I don't have any clamps I gotta take them to a friends garage in town to have them installed.

Upside, I changed a blown headlight and painted the wheels on my 07 LT today, looks really good! If you ever paint your own wheels invest in a gun and a water block for your air compressor. I'll post some pictures after I buff them a little tomorrow.
