Great to hear. I know they have the dual running lights. That's what I didn't understand how the stock bottom reverse light would double as a running light with these.

At the risk of reprimand I will tell you what I think, hope it doesn't offend anyone. I absolutely love my lights, and will be buying one more set from Maggie at Race and street, stellar customer service.

The top lights power an extra ring surrounding the bottom. The bottom still act like they do with stock in that they're the reverse lights. And a very bright set they are! The top still work as they do with the stocks as well.

Thank you everyone for the quick replies. I'll have to toss a coin between the red and clear lights. If anyone has any more opinions keep them coming.

ON

OFF

Right Hand Upper

PLUGS [If you look close, you see a "bulb" insert on the end of the wiring, simply, remove remove bulb, remove stock housing, line up LED with the mounting bracket inside the back hatch, secure, and PLUG in. The little red/black wire is for the reverse light RED RING of LEDs for running lights.. Easy as pie!

If you look closely at the following picture, second from left is a Silver Ice Metallic HHR 2LT with the Clear... For reference.. That was DJR1973's 2LT before he went SS..

I stuck with the red. The others were to "ricey" for my taste. There is a jumper wire that connects the top and bottom running lights together. I've had mine since early 2008. I got one of the first sets released.

Yikes! Those pics are old...before I did anything to mine and about a month before Peevlos totaled the BFM. My car looks like a monster truck sitting that high :)
