You Could try and fit it Flush. Inset it by tracing around it Tightly, remove it and grind,file,sand the bars so it fits Flush. Or semi flush, or maybe even recessed some.

It would take some effort, but it could be done. Die grinder and a good Dremel and some files etc..

I posted in your other grille thread about installing that factory black plastic filler piece that Hides the inner lip of the hood to give it a more Finished look.

Im not against the decepticon logo i have that in both autobot/decept myself its the placement, i like his idea about fitting it into the grill a little extra work but would look awsome.

would look good if it had a frame around the grill instead of seeing the hood edge....

Yeah i am dabling with the idea of painting my grill mesh (black chrome) and filling in that side portion in black that shows white.
just ordered my stanless lower part should look awsome!

thanx american and proud i think your absolutely right having the emblem flush would look better more work but a better lookin grille....... and here is the full pic of my hhr

LOOKS SWEET in the Green. Nice Choice for sure!

And no one else has one, that's nice as well.

Little Details like flushing out the emblem just add to the overall Look of a Custom.And add points at shows.

I think mounted about 2 or 3 inches back from the grille on the hood would be better but the curve of the hood won't play nice there.
