Has anyone made a mesh grille for the lower grille? I hate seeing parts of the radiator being bent because of debris hitting it at highway speeds. I've been looking at the aftermarket lower grilles and really dislike how they look. I just want something that doesn't have huge chrome edges. I need something that protects the radiator. Thanks!!

I went the lower Billet Aluminum route.

A Brick could hit it at highways speeds and my AC will be fine.



And a Combo of the OEM Grille and a Billet Aluminum up top.

 

I mounted my "Gutter Guard Grille" much more securely. It is bolted in..Top & Bottom

So it can take a real good hit & still protect. Yes it would get bent, but would stop about any offending projectile. And having more pieces, no worries..
