shaved door handles

shaved door handles

Has anybody shaved there door handles and what kit did you use?

While that would look sick, I doubt it's been done on anything but show cars. Back in the day you could just unbolt the handles and bondo over the small holes. With ours, the divots behind the handles would have to be cut out and new flat pieces welded in.

holy crap i've been thinking of this very idea!
i'd like to shave my rear passenger doors and then add poppers. the rub is, can the poppers,actuators,wiring,AND fobs from a panel be incorporated?

Interesting thought. If the parts for the regular rear doors are the same as the fronts, maybe its possible to put panel door actuators on the front too. Of course making that work could be more difficult than an aftermarket kit that comes with instructions and everything.
