If you get one , drill out the holes a little bit, or use different self tapping SS screws.

Sleeper, our hardware stores are closed for now and my local Wally mart is out of JB

That is the same one I put on the LT a few years ago, and it went on snugly but smooth.
I bet you just got one from a bad mold ejection or something. Seller should replace as defective.
LOL, picture shows that old money-pit of a motorhome I had back then! Learned my lesson about them, for sure.

We’ll see if the seller responds, they usually blame the buyer for breaking stuff, they did not include instructions or any information sheet.

Hopefully the seller will be a stand up person & take care of you Blue. . I can remember back when these 1st came out, so many had breaking on the stud mounts.

eBay sellers have JB Weld. (just saying)..

And no red insert, well, maybe time for a new look. Going for that "murdered out" look all black.

My Current grille set-up.

I’ve reattached it with ABS plumbing pipe adhesive, fingers crossed!

Note here the plastic pushed out by the OEM stud.

It will sit for a day or two to allow the adhesive to firm up and cure, then I’ll install it .
That is a familiar story. Back when I did mine, the last screw I tried to set snapped the plastic. Bottom left corner. Seller did give a partial refund. I was happy with that since I had already done the black chrome center and installed the bowtie......

I still have that bowtie, kinda concerned about the numbs of the grille being enough to hold it on with 3M double sided molding tape.

I had a look for the possibility of spraying the insert area red, the tape lines aren’t really good for a straight line and taping every point that the insert intersects with the outer frame, just seems to busy.

The original tape held very well, well until I went from to 45-0mph instant stop from the accident. I wouldnt' hesitate to install new 3M and press it into place. This looks to be the same grill, only black vs chrome.

Agreed same grille only the chrome version. I’ll peel off the old tape residue and try it.

Well here it is installed! I’m gonna have to epoxy it of something the abs glue didn’t hold at all . Solman98 what did you use for the broken bracket
