That was a custom built visor, way back when, I don’t remember seeing this style ever sold in the aftermarket. Vizor was a metal shade , converted from PT Cruiser parts

this is the original FULTON visor on my '48 so they did a good job making it fit

You see that the replica visor on the HHR doesn’t have the hinged ends, but does look great , I’m thinking a fibreglass visor, a day or two measuring and another couple of days cutting and shaping , then the aluminium strips for the mounts! Done!
I wonder if one of those hoop rear spoilers would be wide enough?

Just an idea, but could this possibly be reworked to fit the front windshield, measure 60 times cut once? Maybe need two to make one!? I don’t have my sheet metal equipment any more, but an English wheel and a planishing hammer along with hours of metal shaping , a nice visor could be a possibility.
Spoiler

The 48 Chevy the HHR is based on isn't much wider than the HHR, a visor that fits the 48 could be modified to fit. (I saw a 48 Suburban with an HHR dash in a show, it fit perfectly)

Thought about the visor from my '48 cause it is made to fit lots of cars and trucks. Only need gutters and center strip to mount it to a vehicle. HHR's dont have gutters
