I would just tint them or get a wrap company to cover just the glass in body color.

Make cardboard cut out scribe that to 1/8 inch Masonite paint to match car both inside and out and in stall with some type of speed fasteners.

 

I used styrofoam, cut to just the right size, painted them black with a rattle can, and just pressure fitted them in place. I added a couple strips of tape strips to the top inside to help remove them when I want to. You can get 4'x8' sheets with silver mylar on one side at home depot for about $8, ( 1/2" thick)

 

They make vinyl wrap you can see through from the inside but not from the outside. Install on the outside of the glass in body color. Check with a wrap outfit.

 

Called perforated vinyl film. Tiny holes that you can magically see thru from inside, but almost not at all from the outside. Any company that does wraps can help you.
