I was wondering if any one here, Shadow Edition owners or otherwise would know. The gauge cluster upon closer looking at it, looks like Silver stickers on the faces.. Does anyone know if this is factual or not?

 

Yeah they look like stickers/decals Kev, compare your cluster to mine in Mr. Grinch's DIC post and you'll see the blue "speed lines" telegraphing through from underneath.

 

Are you serious? I have HATED the silver gauge faces since I have had it.. I was told it was part of the Shadow Edition package..

Great, now I have something to remove.

 

That doesn't look factory, Kevin.... Shadow edition or otherwise. No offence but it looks crudely done, very "un-OEM"......

 

Yeah the more I look at it the more it looks like something done by an amateur, there are some bubbles on the speedo face, and it sure looks like the tach face is off center too.

 

Kevin. Before you try to "peel" the silver off you might want to have a backup set of gauge stickers on hand. No telling what else will come off when you remove the silver ones.

 

At that point it may just be easier to just switch clusters, instead of trying to remove the dang stickers.. And at the same time could do some cluster mods..

 

Mike, the tach face is centered, its just a shadow from the chrome..

On top of Sticker overlays already? Won't that hinder the warning lights in the IC?
