Interior bike rack

So I got some fork mounts for 29er so that I could store it inside my vehicle. Now I tried super glue and double sided tape but neither worked.

Is there any other way other than drilling through the sub tray to attach this fork mount? Like some super metal to plastic adhesive??

I thought about using a 2x4 but thought that might slide everywhere. I saw someone use a 1" PVC before in their HHR but I cant find that one any more.

I dont have roof racks so thats not an option also a carrier isnt an option because I want to leave the bike safely inside the bike all the time.

People cut the 2x4 for PU beds so that it has to be tapped down so that it doesn't move.

In your case, cut the 2x4 almost long enough to touch both side panels. Then use rubber or something like that on the ends of the 2x4 to snug it in so you don't damage the panels.

Could do the same kind of thing with PVC pipe. Make a frame that fits snuggly, PVC would come apart for ez storage.
